Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of handyman services by TJ.ProFix to the client ("Customer"). By booking our Services, you agree to these Terms.

Services Provided
TJ.ProFix offers repair, maintenance, installation, and custom handyman services for both residential and commercial properties.

Booking and Scheduling
Appointments must be scheduled in advance. While we aim to be punctual, delays due to unforeseen circumstances may occur. Customers will be informed as early as possible in such cases.

Pricing, Materials, and Parts

All services are billed at agreed-upon hourly or flat rates.

Materials and parts are billed separately, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Customers are responsible for sourcing replacement materials or parts for general repairs, based on recommendations provided by TJ.ProFix. We will offer guidance on what is needed, but the final purchase decision is the responsibility of the customer.

TJ.ProFix is not liable for any incorrect or incompatible parts purchased by the customer, including delays or issues arising from such purchases. We strongly recommend confirming all details with us before buying any materials.

If the customer prefers, TJ.ProFix may assist in sourcing materials, in which case associated costs and handling fees will be included in the final invoice.

Payment is due upon completion of services unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Accepted payment methods: Cash, Bank Transfer, and major Credit/Debit Cards.

Estimates and Quotes
Quotes are provided based on the information available at the time. Final charges may vary if additional work or materials are required.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
Warranty and Liability​

We are not liable for pre-existing issues, misuse, or third-party damage after our service.

We carry public liability insurance; however, customers are responsible for their own property insurance.
Health and Safety

TJ.ProFix is committed to maintaining a safe working environment for both our team and customers.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any location where conditions are deemed unsafe, hazardous, or non-compliant with basic health and safety standards.

Unsafe conditions may include (but are not limited to):
– Structural instability
– Presence of hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, mold, chemical exposure)
– Inadequate lighting or ventilation
– Unsecured pets
– Aggressive behavior or harassment

In such cases, the customer will be notified immediately, and service may be postponed or canceled until conditions are rectified.

If service is halted due to unsafe conditions, a call-out fee or partial labor charge may still apply.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the work area is safe, clean, and accessible prior to the technician's arrival.

Access
Customers must ensure clear and safe access to the job site. Delays caused by restricted access may result in additional charges.
Customer Responsibilities
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate information about the issue or project, and to secure pets and valuables during service.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ireland, including but not limited to:

The Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980

The Consumer Rights Act 2022

The Occupiers’ Liability Act 1995

Applicable health and safety regulations under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005

And any other relevant statutory instruments or EU directives applicable in the Republic of Ireland.
In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
Amendments
TJ.ProFix reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website or made available upon request.
